What to Do This Weekend: Tip Back a Pint at Tyson’s Biergarten
For a fun evening different than others, try Tyson’s Biergarten. Themed after a traditional Bavarian beer hall, they have a pretty epic indoor/outdoor space that is perfect for chilling for hours on a sunny Saturday. They’re open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily, so you’ll have plenty of time to fit them into your crazy weekend schedule.
They operate with a chip system that is very typical of traditional beer halls. When you arrive you’ll purchase as many chips as your heart desires. Green chips are for happy hour which runs during the week from 3-6 p.m., red chips are for food, blue chips are for beer/ wine and white chips are for liquor. Each has a different price point associated and then when ordering you pay with your chips rather than a standard receipt.
The menu serves up everything from wings to massive pretzels and sausage platters. Their cocktails are also unique, as they mix their beers with liquor to craft a one-of-a-kind drink. Check out their menus online and head over soon!
